Le Beaujolais Nouveau est à Bar Kick!
You are invited to celebrate the arrival of this year's Beaujolais Nouveau at Bar Kick, savouring it with the superb, robust food of the region to the accompaniment of a traditional French accordionist.
This deliciously fruity, fresh wine is made from hand-picked Gamay grapes, and French law dictates that it is always released at the stroke of midnight on the third Thursday in November. The young (two months old) light wine is intended to be drunk immediately. To compliment it, Kick's kitchen will create typical dishes from the Burgundy-Beaujolais region, including: French Onion soup with melted Gruyere Crostini, Lapin au Cidre, Coq au Vin, Boeuf Bourguignon and Tarte Tatin au Pommes.
Wine lovers can enjoy their Beaujolais in the traditional Duralex glass: a design classic and a Kick favourite in which its standard house wine is now offered. Customers have the choice of a 175ml Duralex glass or a conventional stem glass.
